So been able to bag a V70R AWD so have decided to have a look at a local C70 T5, 150k ish miles cam belt done 2004, what do I need to look out for specifically?

Good service history,, no nasty knocks or crashy ride. Smooth power delivery right through the rev range - give it the beans & keep an eye in the rear view mirror for smoke. Don't worry to much about cosmetic s, mechanical s are mor important in my opinion & so many C70s get broken that there are loads of spare parts cheap to upgrate cosmetics. That can belt will need doing - it's overdue, 8 years or 80k whichever sooner. Cheers, Morgan
I have a C70 T5 coupe and a V70 R fwd, but have you considered a V70 R fwd? Obviously the C70 T5 is fwd but nowhere near as flexible in terms of space compared to the V70.

Not so much of an issue for me right now but will be by the winter, so decided to wait on the estate front.
