Hi I'm pretty new to the scene, smoked a outlet in a mint 240 saloon last summer
I've always wanted an early 340 so I found one and lowered it on some starmags!
Now the wife's car need replacing and I'm hunting for a clean 855 for the big family wagon.
welcome fellow oldschool volvo driver! that is a nice 300 series ya got there love some star mags. n im sure theres a few 855's kicking about for sale you'll find one =)

Welcome to the club. That 300 looks awesome, Infact I think a little love wee just came out!
The exhaust hits the floor all the time but it's worth it! We do about 5k a year in the family wagon and the mrs needs an auto, I'm hoping for either a 855r or 855 tdi. The 340 is all about low and slow so I wouldn't mind a t5:-)
Or a tdi like mine! More power than a T5 but twice the economy ;)

Ha ha! I love my 340 and she is not for sale, cheap motoring and turns lots of heads, mostly in amazement that it looks cool as back in the day you wouldn't look at one twice.

Was that you?! Are you suuuuuure you don't wanna sell it?!! Did you get the problems sorted out?
Yes Chris the head gasket went last month and i threw my toys out the pram and put it up for sale, Then I rebuilt the top end and carb and she now runs lovely, still some welding to sort before the next mot but it's work in progress.
Glad you got it sorted and kept the faith! I like that a lot, if you hadn't guessed!
