Typically the V70 is in for an MOT tomorrow & yesterday it came up with the following message: "Bulb Failure Position Light" I've check all the lights & they appear to be working.... The drivers manual says nothing....... Anyone got any ideas...???? Thanks in advance...
It will be the rear lights. The marker lights are 2 bulbs. One blows and you hardly notice.
Excellent.....i'll check again - it wasn't dark when i checked..... I've just checked & yes, the bulb has gone....do i really need to remove the rear cluster to replace the bulb or am i missing a short-cut...?? Ta Jon
If I remember right the bulb holders have long fittings on that twist. If you access through the small opening panel in the the boot you'll see them.
Some of them are accessible through the rear speaker grille on mine, they are the most difficult PITA bulbs on the whole car .
Managed to change the bulb.....what a faff that was... MOT today...fingers crossed and all that..!!
