Found out tonight that police in aberdeen are still using an early P2 v70 as an unmarked car! (Don't ask how I found out) never got the full plate but its a Y reg V70 T5 in silver!
In my opinion unmarked cars are a dirty trick anyway, but it's easy to pick out the usual Audi, volvo, BMW, fords etc they usually use up here, but I was really surprised by the age of that tonight!
Anybody got any idea if it's a one off or are other forces doing the same? :-/

They used to hire in cars for the job .

I saw an under cover Mini Cooper S 15 plate and a 15 plate V50 T5 on the same run. Did not expect those to be honest

It was just bizzare, when I saw the lights my first thought was that it was a wind-up!lol
I know South yorkshire police used to have a rough looking black scooby years ago.......I found that out when I thought I would try and prove that my scooby was faster than theirs......
Just wondered wether it was a certain type of squad that use them or wether they're just trying to blend in even more.

I know years ago Yorkshire had a little unmarked Seat that booked more speeders than the normal cars did.

Serious crimes (or whatever they're called) still use heavily modified P2 v70. There's a burgundy one local to me.

You see it on the road and floating round paignton every week Harvey on bike nights and the BMW x5, the whole force is strategically placed about the bikers can't get away with much

Norfolk roads policing still have two marked 54 plate v70's at the station near me....!
