Afternoon all. Thought I'd show my face and see how you lot were doing. Been a busy few months in the M-R-P clan, as many of you will know, after buying a new house in November, We decided to fit a new kitchen which took a couple of months in all (ran out of money a few times and work was taking up most of my time, making progress slow) but that's out of the way now and we're very pleased with it. Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image I managed to land myself a new job recently too. My last job was doing my head in and the offer of a position with a local firm as a crane engineer was too good to be true (free use of a van, fuel card, company credit card, 30 days holiday, phone allowance, quarterly bonus, attendance bonus (no sick days or late arrivals = £££), I-pad etc etc... oh, and a lot more money. I'm really enjoying the new job, seems to be my "thing" - ripping broken stuff to bits and putting it all back together again (hopefully working). The job does mean however, I don't spend a lot of time in front of a PC, meaning my forum/facebook visits are now a lot fewer and shorter. Hence this thread. The Van Image Here's the sort of stuff I deal with now. (great in this weather too :) ) Image As for the Sweed... still running well. I had a bit of traffic light drag racing against a mate's E92 last month and it wasn't the total arse-kicking I thought it would be (those bimmers launch like a greyhound). However.... the Sweed has developed a mild smoking habbit and a soon-to-be-rebuilt K24 is sitting on a shelf in my garage. Stay tuned for that one as I'll be doing it myself and doing it right too. Hope you're all behaving yourselves. M-R-P

:welcome:!!!!! Nice to see you posting again! A crane engineer not bad at all........I could do with some heavy lifting advice - at work we are trying to change out a flare tip.....a 4000 kg lump 100-odd metres in the air. Hopefully it won't end up in the sea....

I missed ye if no-one else. Good to see things are on the up. Crane driving in a boat yard - can't be bad. My SSB is still not well but I bought myself a ragtop in the mean time (as you may have seen on Faceache).
