So after my car scrapped through its MOT last year I really need a new exhaust.
I been looking for a second hand on ebay, tried breakers to no no avail.
Now seriously looking at a stainless system. Not really for performance but longevity.
I had seen a 'BSR' system on their website a few months ago that was £300. Its now gone up to £360.
The JETEX cat back system seems to get good support (same factory as BSR apparently). Its also £360.
I'm just finding it hard to shell out all that money. Have been trying to find it cheaper but failing miserably.
I don't have anywhere close that would do a custom job so that's not really a option.
Needs new fronts shocks too. £500 plus bill coming my way. :(

The best I can do for a Swedish made Ferrita fully stainless sports cat back exhaust is £415.00 including VAT and delivery.

If you can beat £360 I'll quite happily give you the money :)

Delivery does cost a few bob more to many Scottish addresses... so worth checking what others will charge for delivery.
I will reduce the price, temporarily, on my website if you would like to order it there.... or you can pay by paypal... but you will need my PP details.

I just live 10 miles from the English Border so no where remote or random. Is the exhaust a subtle one. Don't want anything that drones or too loud. A little more would be fine.

Don, you have sold an exhaust. Thanks for 'dealing'. I will order later when I'm out of the pub.

What did you get one for? Group buy?
I'm in the same boat, had my 850 T5 a few months now and I'm sorting it out before I put it on the road. I also want an exhaust for looks but mainly sound and haven't seen one come up on ebay!

£360. Its still that price if you click on the link near the start of the thread.

I liked your ferrita too lol.
I've got bsr / jettex now and very happy with it.
I think all these exhausts now are pretty good and tbh the worst I've had have been custom power flow type affairs that drone.

Fitted yesterday. Getting the old one off was a nightmare, rusted bolts so it was a hacksaw job to get the bracket off.
Thankfully as the Ferrita is split into two parts it was a doddle to fit.
Nice subtle sound. I like!!!
Perfect fit. Well chuffed :)

Yes, photos please, not sure I've seen the tip design.
Might get one for my R if it needs it. But saying that, the exhaust will be worth more than the car :D

Don, when will you reduce price? I am seriously looking into buying but like T I am really short on funds and just want a solid exhaust system. Also any videos of the system in action on a t5?
Thanks

The price of £360 shown on my website here: http://kalmar-union.com/parts/volvo-850_s70_v70_c70-exhausts/ includes VAT and UK overnight delivery to mainland addresses except some in Scotland.
That is my recently reduced price.

I was wondering if you do a version that doesnt have the backbox before the end tip, similar to how jetex have 2 systems, one with mid box & back box and one with just the mod box and tail pipe on hangers ?

I went for a jetex system h7, it has a mid box and a rear silencer, I think it sounds fantastic on load, it has a bassy idle but you really wouldnt notice if say in traffic or anything, its made very well. Like I say it howls on full throttle but remains civilized at low RPM, 10/10 in my opinion!
