3 years ago yesterday (I can't believe it's gone so quick) I bought this:
We drove all the way to Barnstaple to see it, and although it was far from perfect, I handed over £975 for it. The main things that needed sorting were the engine top mount bush, which was totally shot, the nearside headlight had a hole in it, and a noisy front wheel bearing, I won't bore you with all the details, there's a project thread for that: http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?45817-Saffy-C70-T5-GT-work-in-progress
So to today, the car's been great, and a P.I.T.A., and every thing in between and at the weekend it looked like this, but is still far from finished:
So here's to the next 3 years (and a day).:D

I had to look at them photos twice, it didn't look like it had a sunroof when you got :P
But no, certainly looks hell of a lot better now, a few simple changes can transform a car!

I wish they'd all been simple, obviously the cosmetic changes were fairly simple, but not all of the mechanical ones were. :wallbash:
