They word it like either are bad things?! "Vehicle has four wheels and all are attatched, one either corner."

I've heard of these dodgy £££££££s stick crappy bodykits on the rusty arse hatches to cover up rust, I'm wise to your ways ;)

One of the lads in the garage asked where did I get the kit from & did I do the rear engine conversion myself. It is a rusty arse hatch though - the doors need a bit of work. Covered in bird ££££ too now after I took it up to Otterburn for a few days to my sisters & BF's wedding

Just on the MOT theme, £853 to get my wife's Alfa 156 through this week, and no advisories after all that. I asked if we could scrap it, and I can't repeat what she said...............

My S60 went through last Friday, so the only money spent on it in 12 months was a couple of gallons of gearbox oil. (apart from tax, insurance and fuel ) and it's about to be sold to someone for £16 :)
850 quid...! You can remind her of this when the volvo(s) need work :)
To be fair her car has had very little work in 4 years of having the car. Lower arm, top mount, exhaust, rear discs and pads, 2 tyres and the list goes on..... My Alfa for it's MOT late August and it will be scrapped if it needs this level of work.
It's an Alfa, we know that won't be the case :P
you Alfa owners love punishment)) check this one out below - old S-reg Spider used at sister/BF's wedding recently It must take an awful lot of hard work to keep it running, never mind looking as good as that.
hope it gets through with only daft advisories like mine...
Thanks and so do I......... Mine has jobs done as they come up with the mileage that I do, and I've recently had the rear shocks, rear discs and pads, steering rack etc done. Part of the exhaust needs fixing but that is all that I'm aware of.........

Very nice Jamesy, very nice indeed. Thumbs up from 'the bairn' I see ;) Rust is a huge concern on them, not ideal transport for over here!

She's just come Home from work after being reunited with her car, and told me that she now has a bulb out. I hate doing bulbs on her car depending on which one it is. Alfas................who'd have'em?

Looking through my 166's history at it's last MOT the owner was charged for bumper removal and refitting for changing the sidelight bulbs!
Looking through my 166's history at it's last MOT the owner was charged for bumper removal and refitting for changing the sidelight bulbs!
OK, so this is just the sidelight bulb and I will have my mirror out so that I can see what I'm doing. Going for the standard GE bulb.

What is it Mark? A pre facelift 156?

Post 779082 by foammanmark on 2015-07-24 22:40:44
What is it Mark? A pre facelift 156?
Hers is the facelift and mine is pre-facelift but both 2003 cars. Those offset peg bulbs from what I remember.
