Hi all, just though i'd say a quick hello from a new owner. I have been looking for a red 850R estate with black interior and manual box for about a year and was giving up hope. Then to my surprise i got the chane of two identical cars. High on the miles ( aren't they all) but very well cared for. I drove one home 450miles at the weekend in the one shot. What a comfortable car, anything else i would have had to make a stop. Looking forward to being part of the volvo community and hopefully meeting some new friends.

Hi all, thanks for the welcome. Yes Orca2 it was the ones being sold as a pair. Pick up the other one this weekend and have the 450 mile drive to do all over again.

I'm Just outside Glasgow and the cars were 20 odd miles outside Carmarthen in Wales. I could have taken a shorter route by driving A roads through Wales but the cars have had very little use in the last few years and thought the motorway would be easiest in case I ran into problems but the car drove amazingly well. Only problem is the speedo sticks at 50mph?
Hope the other one is equally as fault free to drive.

They have quite a few events , I have never managed to make it to one yet, there was a big one at South Queensferry a while back and I wished I had been able to go , it had a good turnout and lots of really nice cars .
Both of mine work for their keep , so they are not exactly concourse examples. Lol
