Hi all Quick description about my car followed by description about me.... the important bit first so if you get bored, you can skip the bit about me. Well I have a 2013 Volvo V40 D3 R-Design in Rebel Blue, its pretty much standard at the minute, as I'm finding it hard to find upgrades that are made for it yet, i.e. Coilovers and brakes. The only mod I have done is change the wheels to Ford Focus ST Wheels, Just due to the fact they came available cheap from a friend and look nice. I was looking at getting the Polestar upgrade, but for the extra 27 BHP, I thought I'd save my money for the time being and wait out. So thats the car, Now about me I'm Called Shaun, This is now my Second Volvo, I previously had a Volvo C30 R-Design in Black, But it was only a 1.6 Petrol, It guzzled Fuel on the motorways, and didnt have the power to show for it, so ended up getting the D3. I'm from Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, and I'm the usual Gym going guy, love Swimming, Love surfing (not brilliant at it) enjoy snooker, and squash when ever theres someone to play with. I have a fascination with astronomy, however, don't know much about it. I used to love going to car shows but my job took priority and ended up unable to attend most of them, but keen to get back into it, and get back into the car enthusiast scene, Loving volvo's at the minute, and trying to get everyone I know to buy one, but Fords, Mercs and BMW's seem to be winning them over more than me. so finally, thanks for letting me join the community, and hopefully speak, if not see a few of you soon, anyone around the Hudds area, make sure you give me a flash if you see me. Shaun.

Hello and welcome that's a great write up I too also find astronomy great but I have no idea and no decent gear for viewing, also I keep seeing stuff move up there like stars moving across the sky weather it's satellites, aliens or just pure drunk Ness I do not know but I do see them quite often. We've got a 1/4 mile day at York on the 20th sept your sore than welcome and can join the convoy down the night before if you wish for beer food and a good laugh.

Welcome aboard mate. First time I ever saw a satellite, tracking across the sky was in Cornwall a few years back, you never see them in Glasgow, come to think of it ... You never see the sky. Ps the car looks great, I love the colour.
