I shall shortly be modding the v70r p2 (thanks to help of nealevo). Can the eagle eyed forum members spot the difference (no prizes lol) Only seen this done once so far.

Converting it to lhd? :D
No lol, this is the only car I know with this adaptation (nice sonic btw)
You're putting a 3rd pedal and a proper gearbox in it?
I think he's going to be even lazier
Nope and it's in the pics of you look closey
I think he's going to be even lazier
That isn't possible lol
Changing the wheel to a sport one,and the paddles .so two mods http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?134679-My-new-B-Line-MotorSports-MOD!
I have a dark wood p2 wheel (quite rare) to use, not seen another actually
I have a dark wood p2 wheel (quite rare) to use, not seen another actually
Yes you have - there's one in my garage;)
I've got a dark walnut one, much darker and less red than in my R
Bought a couple of things for the sonic this week, splitter which was incredibly cheap, sub for the boot (new unused) and the wheels are off for refurb. Wheels I'm thinking black gloss or semi gloss. Fitting the black R headlights at the same time and intercooler, the silver around the grill will be blacked as its stone chipped alot and a black mech made up for the lower intercooler bumper opening. Better do something with it, it's not being driven, last time was the Dyno day.
I've seen those Cupra splitters on eBay and they're certainly interesting. I'll be curious to see how you get on.
I popped a thread on VS and we've bought a few and there almost gone now, I'm guessing it's not an issue for them to restock, but I believe they order from Germany. There's a few of us so I'll pop a few pics up, but I won't be fitting mine immediately.
It's a cupra r splitter, part number 1ML 805 903
Looks very nice when fitted.
It's a cupra r splitter, part number 1ML 805 903
Not too worried as long as it fits ok, silly cheap so if it's bad not such a problem, the company just list them as fitting with a little modification
It's not wide enough to fit on a Volvo bumper it needs extra 50mm added to it to make it look right . http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?189961-Custom-front-lip-for-the-VR%85Kinda The silver car has the mod one fitted, but the blue car is as it comes . This is also getting fitted in USA if you have a look . Not the best fits but at the price , it ok . http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=360751414184&alt=web
Thanks I'll have a look through when I get round to to fitting, it's being a temporary storage shed currently until I get a chance to clear it out.
Dropped the wheels off today for, dip blast and powder coat. I went for black with, silver flake in high gloss, I looked at the other colours but none really took my fancy.
Next week should see the klracing intercooler fitted and the black headlamps, replaced broken fog, refurbed wheels, headlamp wiper motor that's frozen and new rear wiper arm. Then I can start cleaning it up as its no longer used. Still have to poly rear toe arm and front wishbones (although I may just buy new Volvo arms) Gtx wheel in rebuilt turbo, and unrestricted map
I have the d5 oil cooler to fit as well this week, may as well do an oil change at the same time.
Fitting the new intercooler, black xenons, refurbed wheels, new fog, and subwoofer I'll also have a go at the bumper whilst it's off and making a lower grill.
Intercoolers in and working perfectly, black xenons look awesome and tie the front end together. Fitting the new old stock boot subwoofer next and I was very fortunate to find a new old stock Volvo boot fridge as well, should be nice for cold drink in Brighton. Oddly it can keep things hot as well.

You should come along to beauleiu, it's going to be big-ish
I like the black surround in the Xenons, was it hard to do? I've thought about doing mine.
Think there oem AFAIK Lee Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
I like the black surround in the Xenons, was it hard to do? I've thought about doing mine.
Incredibly rare std s60 / v70 xenon upgrade option 2000-2004, not many people took it on when buying. Hoping to fit my splitter soon as it's also black, I'll leave the grill as is and get the paint blemishes done soon as well, but the driveway as it already scrapes the std bumper, hence parked in bay opposite the house so need the drive sorted before fitting splitter
Fitted the sub yesterday as well, and popped the fridge in the boot.
Removed all the engine covers, fuse box, air filter, ecu etc as I'm sending off this week for blue carbon hydro dipping, degreased the engine bay and cleaned up a bit whilst I was about it.
Collected most of the manual conversion parts now! Found a place that does the software for conversion for £90-100 So will have the sonic manual soon possibly
Pics of the hydrodipped plastics, should tidy up engine bay a bit.
Well looks as if the sonic is sold, a chap who's had a car from me before is seriously considering it.
