Lowered car on coilovers, what droplinks?

I've fitted a set of the prosport coilovers recently. While doing so I noticed one of the drop link ends was split and dry. Got a slight knock from it. My question is, because it is lowered by quite a bit and the shock position in relation to the anti roll bar on the subframe is further away should I consider long drop links? The p2 model links are 30mm longer than the 850.

I use P1 Meyle HD ones on my C70.

I've seen them on allgermanparts for a great price. Definitely P1 (p80 platform) ones? How long have they lasted mate out of interest?

They're still on there 2 years after I fitted them.

They are £14.05 each on eBay with free postage :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351180977502?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT allgermanparts.co.uk are £12 odd each but £6 postage ;) I've had them on my car too for 1.5 years no problem.

Yup Meyle HD's for me. AllGermanParts used to be the cheapest by a country mile, not so anymore. Worth having a good look everywhere online, Amazon, Ebay etc.

I usually fit them too, but have a pair of the rose jointed adjustable ones for the olive, once I fit them like lol, everything else is meyle hd including the ball joints on the 850s (ally wishbones removable ball joints), meyle stuff works well.
