Been searching for this specific model for ages. Kyosho 1/18th scale Titan Silver M3, blue interior but with the very rare CSL alloys, most come with the standard 18" wheels. Added my number plate to it aswell :D Image Image Image Image Image Image Image

Clue is in the title Numpty! VOLVO PERFORMANCE ffs

Post 786273 by Biff on 2015-09-20 21:22:21

I think that's pretty cool, even if it is a BMW. What do I know I drive a broken diesel saab & a VW golf.

Does seem to be a lot of non Volvo cars mentioned in posts, might show up more due to forum decline and those that's have non Volvo cars post a lot? I personally don't mention wife's car or my bikes or other make cars (no sold) as its a Volvo forum unless it's appropriate. But starting a car thread for a non Volvo car? I think if it was a newbie they'd get shot down.
I was making the point of if a newbie did it, it would be jumped on.
That wasn't all that you implied at all. You're back peddling now. And I disagree with that anyway. There gave been plenty of occasions over they years that people have joined the forum on the lookout or simply showing an interest in Volvo, whilst in the process sharing their car history and the car they drive now. To my recollection no-one has ever been shot down for it. I think most people on car forums have a general interest in cars as a whole, so welcome any car/performance related chat. I actually think you are the only person that has ever brought it up.

What a bunch of tossers some of you are. It's a ££££ing model car. As Chris said I've been on this forum for a lot longer than a few of you guys and I've had Volvos in the past. I still come on this forum as Ive met a few of you for real, but some of the responses on this thread are pathetic. So you can only come on this forum if you drive a Volvo now? No wonder a lot of the original guys don't post anymore.

Hey since when did the swear filter get lifted? I reckon it might get reinstated if names keep getting called. I think if you have an interest in volvo's then why not come here? M3's are good cars, I owned an e36 Evo in 2004. I wouldn't have another but each to his own. As for attending meets, I was thinking about taking the vectra up to the Evo triangle meet as I know I will be welcome & the car will give some banter. This forum has declined due to the lack of shows etc it attends as a force. Vt are massive due to the meets they organise & the popular face book page. 2 things vpcuk don't have. There are some good guys & some helmets but I still take an interest in what both have to say. It's inevitable that people get bored/see the truth in people. In the 2.5 years I've been here I've seen some good people leave, some for other man manufacturers others due to arguments. I've seen those people come back to carry on arguments. Past few weeks I've seen a lot of negative comments aimed at each other both old & new members over various topics. It shouldn't happen really as it is bad for the forum. I admit one person boils my tatties & I have bitten a few times but now I just stop myself for fear of being a troll. You guys should try it.

I enjoyed meeting up with some guys from this forum, but if Steve doesn't want anyone to turn up to the local meet if they don't still drive a Volvo well I'm stuffed then. Last time I turned up it was because his Gul t5r was going to be there and I wanted to see it as I still love Volvos. A shame really. Adios people. Mike

Trying different stuff is what develops us. My Mazda is arriving on Tuesday but I'm not going to talk about it - in love with the Volvo today cos it is unburstable About model cars - I just remembered having a Renault 5 model & showing it to the bairn a few years go, he wrecked it..! My fault for giving a 4 year something that isn't a toy

Having been a member of this forum since before it actually began (it's a long story) I can honestly say that this forum is no where near what it used to be, I used to log in and find five or six new pages A NIGHT!!.. I think mainly it's declined because of the rise in Facebook pages tbh, why log onto a forum when most of what you want is at your fingertips via facebook. Also most of the main users of this site have left to join other forums leaving basically on the newbies and the die hards....
