Hi everyone I have a 2008 V70 SE with Polestar purchased in February this year. First diesel I have owned and quite impressed so far and have covered about 7k so far. Just coming up to 40k and just had the steering rack ,pump, reservoir and pipes replaced under warranty as it was clicking and oil contaminated with swarf.[ATTACH=CONFIG]29767[/ATTACH]

My first car was a Hillman Avenger and I would love to get another.
I lived two miles away from the Linwood car plant.
My brother in law's dad worked at Linwood back in the day, he tells a great story about how they had a Hillman imp returned to the factory to investigate what was causing a clonk when turning left or right, they eventually cut open a welded box section and discovered an empty quarter bottle of whisky had been welded inside. It was flipping back and forwards on cornering. Ah the heyday of British manufacturing.
