I'm off to Sunny Maidstone on Thursday in the Stealth Bomber
Now then, Sunny Bramhall to Maidstone 260 miles or so and back, another 260...all that amusing down time on the M25 to consider...Going empty returning with a dissembled Triumph T160 (weighs around 525lb) won't be hanging about, tank is full .
I'll work the consumption down to a decimal point...what do we think?

Brave Call...I'll see what I can do for you

I'm sure I managed near that in my S70 T5, that was an auto. No Triumph in the boot like

Post 787030 by kmb on 2015-09-28 20:47:57

Ooooo Orca and me simultaneously posted virtually identical efforts and I've been undercut... there goes my chance.

We will share the prize mate , Im pretty sure it is Bacon, .... Let it be bacon.

31.6 mpg.
In my auto AWD on longer journeys I get 35-37 on the screen thingy but I drive like a right Granddad sometimes on the motorway!

As you won't be hanging about and you'll have plenty of weight on the way back (and it is an auto), i'm going for 26.5mpg.

That works for me... I'm French side and they just have the bacon rounds here, missing the little fatty tail piece. It's a tragedy I tell thee!

Post 787333 by bonnietiler on 2015-10-01 20:03:29

I'll fire up the Box Brownie later for the pictures...Just as an aside the guy where I bought the bike used to own a Garage in the middle of nowhere all exactly how it was back in the 50's they sell classic cars now, he wanted the 850R... badly... even made me an offer and a delivery of the bike. So something is happening to the 850R on the general desire front?
Post 787381 by kmb on 2015-10-02 08:58:39
Maybe he had a buyer lined up, the number of 850's is dwindling fast...

Dont panic when it drops to 88 as my 850R manual is about to go into hibernation for the winter. Its out of MOT and needs two new front shocks and a track rod end to pass anyway. ZZZZzzzzzz..................
