joined this vovlo forum in hopes of getting lots of info .
i,m 64 years old ,have been in car industry all my life ,dearlshiop ,wrokshop and specialised tuning
my brother and I had a volvo dealership until early 90.s
he is still inlove with with his 200
after that we had a ctreon franchise and got back into racing and tuning with ax +saxo,s --won scottish sprint +saloon car championship a few times .
then moved onto road tuning ,mostly on saxo,s etc and specialising in rotex super chargers ..
so brother now wants me to s/c his old 245 glt estate
I,m wondering what other more modern engine will drop in so i can use a new style ecu system +controls

Few T5 swaps going around, I would think this is the route of least resistance... but maybe not an easy 500bhp (the number mentioned elsewhere by you).

I think you would do well to speak to our Claymore & you should supercharge a t5 white block in it.

Good stuff, I don't mind a French car and sold my bx16v last year
