I think you may get some snobbery as its a cheaper brand but I've seen some quality engineering off them. I'm a fan of the japs quality.

i've got one now bolted to the 15g on BT, but has a 20t in the garage waiting. Plenty of choice for springs Image

Post 790429 by leet5r on 2015-11-09 20:33:04

cheers lads , and pfandango if I used the 1 bar spring and plumbed it in so it was turbo to actuator (no bcs) I would only get 1 bar in every gear ??

I used a Kinugawa big 16G turbo and actuator on my T4 and Mo used a 19T on his Saab. Not a bad word to say really. The turbos kits are of excellent quality including all the lines and banjos etc. Customer service was very good and my turbo arrived from Japan in 4 days! Free postage too. I did tons of research before buying and Kinugawa have an excellent reputation especially within evo and Subaru circles.

As said its already on the 15g, when the 20t goes on just need to change the spring

my kinugawa 19t made 320bhp and 360ft lbs on my 850, very happy with it - until ive gone gt30 :)

Post 790533 by leet5r on 2015-11-10 20:51:22

what other mods

Post 790536 by mike 850 on 2015-11-10 20:57:26

Me? Was intercooler, 3" rip, 3" dp, cat back, Japanifold, decat, blues, forged rods, lightly ported head, induction kit, 3" intake, 4.4 ecu. I have the same now but with gt30 turbo and gt500 injectors with remap, got 360bhp 380 ft lbs @ 1.2 bar unfortunately engine has low compression, so off the road doing the rings over winter...

If you have time to burn, my project thread with different variations https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151550645345636.1073741827.622255635&type=1&l=2c1d0d81d1 360 was with the chinky gt30, don't think I'd ever of got that with the 19t, couldn't get it above 320 tbh, more boost gave more torque but just wouldn't flow up top Sorry for the thread hijack

It was just somewhere to upload photos to start with. I did use a kinugawa adjustable actuator and it worked really well :)
