Afternoon all Been lurking for a while so thought i'd say hi My names Ashley, 32 and a petrol head from Maidstone Kent, always been a VW / BMW man and had 'show' / performance cars most of my adult life Family life took over so now use motorbikes for my adrenaline fix and cars to get from A to B. I've always been a sucker for a big estate having owned various golfs, Audi 80, Audi S4, Mercedes W210 all in the estate variant. After getting the wife a new fiesta Zetec S on a lease hire deal at the beginning of the year, i was happily running around in her old A3 1.8T sport as my station car when a work colleage mentioned his buddy was going to be selling his T5 if i knew anyone! Three weeks later and i owned a 1996 2 owner, full history, 107K , 850T5 estate... in manual for the pricely sum of £500 I'll start a build thread soon as done a fair bit of preventative maintenance and sorting silly niggles out in the two months since i got it.
