I've already planned a meet which will be a annual meet for Volvo's at the ace cafe, the 12th March 10-4pm I've been speaking with them this week and there are a few dates still open. If there's enough interest I'll make a second meet. It would be straight after Xmas literally the beginning of jan or later in the year October. Either would be a sat 10-4pm Invite only as per there rules.

Sorry, but last time we went, Rachel had to be babysit MRP's son, so we'll give it a miss.

Post 791875 by Ettienne on 2015-11-23 22:23:02

The march meet is full to bursting, just thought I'd 10 people fancied it I'd book one. I'll leave it up for a week or so on here and voc, if no interest then I'll leave it. I'm also thinking of popping up to look at the classic Audi Quattro's at the big dealership on the m4 and then dropping by Volvo flagship store (west London cars)

Post 794243 by Ettienne on 2016-01-02 10:10:27

Ok ref the 23rd jan meet as per the rules at ace cafe, your registration number needs to be taken and passed on by me to gain entry to the car park. Please start sending me your reg numbers of the cars your gonna drive in so I can pass them on via pm not on the open forum. This sounds stupid but non Volvo's will be turned away, but I understand there maybe some outside parking. Please no silly driving, consumption of alcohol either, all food please to be purchased from the ace cafe, after all they are a business and need to make a profit.

Post 794590 by Ettienne on 2016-01-07 23:48:32

Staging point for convoy will be churchillian carpark on southwick hill. This is for people who want to convoy, we will be leaving 9am sharp!! (Sat nav says 1.30 without traffic) This is not a necessity and only if you wish, this applies to people who are local to Portsmouth.

Post 794664 by Ettienne on 2016-01-09 12:35:42

Just heard Volvo are sending a polestar possibly which should be good. As above if your coming and haven't sent reg number you may not be able to park.

Post 794719 by Ettienne on 2016-01-09 22:12:55

Shut the registering now, 30 ish cars plus some Volvo supplied polestars I don't think it's gonna be practical to convoy down for me. I think most locals are coming form Soton so may as well go from there down the m3

I've been asked if I turn up will I be able to get in, only if someone drops out and you get a spot is the answer, they are very fussy about numbers and entry on a full car park. There is additional parking locally so there is a good chance you'll be able to park. __________________
