Hi, I used to be quite active in the modded Volvo scene, with a 244 converted to LHD, so there was room for a decent remote wastegate turbo. That was many years ago. I work in the motor trade, mainly on competition cars, although, long story aside, I also work on LOTS of MKIV Toyota Supra twin turbos. I have raced in various formulae at up to National level, from gearbox karts to F3000, via Sports GT's, Special Saloons and National F3. I am now a bit long in the tooth for all that, although I still have a few nice race cars. Last projects were turbo charging a race Formula Atlantic 1.6 Toyota 4A-GE engine, and building a Skyline GTS-t for track days. GTR all steel engine, with a Traktive sequential dog box and some trick custom suspension, all home built. I documented these builds on other forums if anyone is interested. Now that my V90 is an embarrassment to be seen in (although people's refusal to travel in the thing can be a bonus....), I am looking for another RWD Volvo estate and am amazed how much lowish mileage clean ones are fetching! I am also a dog lover and we have 9 dogs! Luckily my vet is a car lover, so deals are struck ;) Best regards, Chris in north Shropshire.
