Evening all. I've been a Volvo owner for almost a year now and am already on my second. I had a V70 T5 to begin with and have since upgraded to an 850 T5. I joined up as a friend pointed me in the direction of a breaking thread, but I will stay as this seems to be one of the better populated volvo forums and it's always nice to have other enthusiasts to ask for help. I'll get some pictures up of my turbo brick at some point soon. Cheers, Dan

I've recently taken the plunge and fitted the 850 with B4s so it drives like its on rails now. I am still thinking about a suspension refresh with B4's (standard firmess & damping so I believe), plus 40mm lowering springs. How much did you pay for the set of B4's?

I did a full refresh (bar bushes) as the whole lot was almost completely shot. The springs I found on eBay from a shop in Germany that were much, much cheaper than anywhere else. He keeps uhming and ahing about whether to get them himself but he keeps buying more cars so that hampers efforts. I can't fault them so far, they transform the car.
