Hi, Just done this on my V70 2.0D. DO NOT listen to any posts telling you to buy a tool to plug in your car to rewind the pads electronically. It can be done very easily without buying such an item and save you around £100. Don't be fooled by the dealer only job either. I actually used a 12 volt battery and hot wired the motor part to rewind it. However I found the piston was actual still stuck in the original place so I used to usual wind back tool. It can be done easily without using a battery as well. T.

This is the guide I found hidden among lots of threads saying buy/need special tool. http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=206272&highlight=replacing+rear+brake+pads
