Hi all! :-) recently bought my self an old 2 litre Volvo 740 SE for £220 after selling my 16v classic mini (big change of scenery) Absolutely love it, comfiest car I've ever owned, even if it does use more fuel than my Focus ST! So far its pretty standard apart from decent stereo and the rs turbo exhaust I bodged onto it to pass the MoT (it was all I had lying around but its a bit embarrassingly loud, even with 2 silencers and a back box) future plans are to tidy it up, keep it looking fairly sedate and standard but up the power considerably to justify the 20 odd mpg, along with a lsd rear axle from a 940 or similar. A brake upgrade is definitely on the cards too After my mini this seems like the most luxurious car in the world, (the mini didn't even have a heater, let alone heated seats!) cheers Jon
