I live in the central belt between Glasgow and Edinburgh (Armadale Junction4 M8). Anybody know anyone that has VIDA/DICE software, which would save me going to Main Stealers?????

My Nav screen does not respond. LeeT5 and Harvey have advised for getting Bluetooth in the car the best solution is to attach an aftermarket thing to my RTI unit in the load space. But I need to know if VIDA sees it, then I can work out if it's that thats faulty or the wiring or the screen. First thing is to see if it shows up on the screen, if it doesn't it could be goosed. Can you help??

I can certainly plug the car in and see what it says but I don't profess to be an expert in vida. If you're through this way let me know, most afternoons are good for me if that helps. PM me if you want to sort something out.

Think it's best getting it checked over top to tail as there is a couple of niggles with it. Shudder at the thought of the cost but, hopefully they can diagnose whats what. Thanks again and your Sonic looks sweet by the way.

Thanks. Hope you get it sorted, let me know if I can help in future. Might be worth asking for a total canbus update (I think that's what it's called). That reads all the software on that whole car and makes sure it's the latest version, I don't think it's too expensive. Let us know how you get on, I've not really had any dealings with Murray.

I would recommend to buy a VIDA/DICE clone. It will give you the chance to lookup DTCs and erase them. At least you won't need to go to the dealer for this. Bought mine from http://www.aliexpress.com/, based on another Forum (matthews) recommendation. Checked and it is compatible/meets the requirement for Hilton Tuning: http://hiltontuning.com/DiCECompatibilityCheck.pdf Store name: Shenzhen Zeus Technology Co., Ltd. I have 2014 A and 2014D installed as virtual machines. Package comes with cables and install media, no need for any extra cables. direct link to the Aliexpress Store: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/NEW-VIDA-DICE-FOR-VOLVO-Diagnostical-Tool-2012A-100-Warranty-in-stock/320461_685864458.html
