There must be some thing in the air both Gav and us got a c70 convertible today.
It's a 90k 2.5t GT auto, it had some horrible 16" wheels on so it's borrowed the s70r wheels while that's now in storage.
Few little jobs to do
Timing belt
Thermostat
Replace some broken trim
And bought a kit to revive the roof.
On a plus less than 2 years ago it had a brand new genuine etm and update at volvo.

Not wrong there...it's done more miles on a flatbeds & trailers than under it's own steam in the past year or so. Time for me to stop pissing about with it unfortunately. I tried my best

very nice....looks very clean,love the saffy colour.
Few little jobs done today sorted the bulb warning light got both the remote fobs working and put a new thermostat in.
Upon removal of the stat top cover I was greeted with a empty hole some one had removed the stat and not re fitted one so alarm bells runs I wonder if this car had a over heating issue and some one has removed it to keep it cool any way put the new one in and took it for a drive and all seems fine and back up to temp now with a warm heater.
Why ever some one would bodge this for the same of a 4 quid stat bamboozles me.
Next on the list adjust the drivers window then onto the timing belt and a good service.
looks like the stat housing was leaking at some point by the colour of the temp sensor beneath it.....keep up the good work mate.
