Car failed for being too loud! To be fair does have 3" straight pipe from turbo... Looks like I've got to put a box in :(

I guess the tester lives in your road !. I know it's now part of the MOT but it must make a fair bit of noise then .

Yeah she is really loud, pops, crackles and backfires all time. Its worst at cold startup. I do like it, especially the turbo spool and when you put your down it sounds amazing but at low revs it sounds pretty crap, like a diesel abit. The drone is pretty bad at 70mph even with music quite high. I was thinking about buying one of thoughs ebay exhaust control valves so i can open or close but i'm happy to put a silencer box in. I should get some videos of it before i get the box on.

I've got the exhaust cut-off valve on BT, the look on people's faces when you knock the switch lol

car is quiet and will pass MOT. No more straight pipe from turbo. :( Tried to fit exhaust control valve but it was inches away from ground. Turned it around and it was hitting propshaft. Went to Fast Road Conversions to install a box. It's alot quieter than it was before. Sounds nice and seems quicker! Probably due to exhaust back pressure.
