Beachcomber here - just found you guys

As a lifelong and intermittent Volvo owner [ including a PV544 ], I'm here with my latest [ and probably last ] plaything - my 940 SE Turbo Estate. Following a life of designing, manufacturing, and since retiring - design consultancy to the replica car industry, I've found that I just can't stop tinkering ! Long story short - serious health issues have meant I've had to cull my motorbike [ x3 ] and Hot Rod projects and they're in the process of being sold off. That left a huge void in my daily routine and my V70 daily driver just didn't inspire any justification to mod. So, I decided on an early brick. After some months of searching, I gave up. Either outside my meagre budget, or fit for the scrappies. Then an excellent 940 estate came along - right time, and definitely right money. It's a 2ltr Turbo auto and is in remarkable condition - the PO spent absolute fortunes on it. Only needs a tailpipe and back box for the MOT and we're off and playing.

I'll try again when I regain the will to live. in the meantime here are some pix. As bought My new T3 turbo to go with the 2.3 T lump I've just bought. Aftermarket roof spolier goes here !
