Hi guys, just bought a cheap V50 off Fleabay and am pleased with it for the price. Seems to run fine but there are 2 things wrong with it. anti skid service required and a P2008 code. Google tells me its a new swirl control solenoid for the P2008 fault but don't seem to see a definitive answer for the anti skid service warning. Any tips and advice appreciated. Thanks.
Anti skid is probably a rusty/cracked reluctor ring, could be an ABS sensor, and worse case scenario faulty ABS module.
Would a proper Volvo diagnostics tell me which problem it may be or is it a case of replacing each bit till it goes away?
