Cleaned my maf and it threw up a service message engine system service required :(, all sorted undid the battery for an hour and took it for a spin message gone phew what is this message puts youre heart in youre mouth
Normally if you switch the engine off and restart it, the message disappears. No need for the whole battery disconnect makarky Kieran
Okay mate I take it it's a message that pops up often then, car is running better after a maf clean up, rear brakes next when I get some time off and fuel filter why it's up 15ft in the air lol.
I got the same message when i clean MAF but I'd forgot to plug sensor back in haha!
Th fuel filter is well worth the effort mate , what can only be described as petrol mud ran out of mine when I changed it . The whole car felt better afterwards
Orca it's on my to do list as are the rear brakes all ready and waiting to be fitted, they passed the mot but they are shot not upto my standard lol pitted and ridged.
