thanks lads, If i could have found another 850 i would of but they all seem to be on their last legs or stupid money , for what is effectively and old car. Up until about five years ago i was a ford man through and through , I had a cosworth for ten years and my best mate had an 850r saloon, I used to take the piss saying he was driving an old mans car lol, but it never went wrong (unlike the cosworth - ok it was rapid as fxxk but everything was on the limits), when the need for an estate arose i bought my first 850 t5 and have never looked back since i am now Volvo through and through , my wife even drives an 850 saloon , not needing a massive estate anymore or oddles of power (i am getting on now) i opted for the v50 , its a 2.0d sport se - r.design and i`m loving it. fully loaded and the previous owner even fitted the headrest with monitors, its also sporting some nice heko wind deflectors which i think really set it off :D

Let me know what real world mpg you get. I have an '05' 2.0 D sport. The fuel consumption is a little poor compared to what I thought. Although my last tank was pretty good at 44.8mpg, it was hard to get it that high! Usually low 40's.

I had an 06 2.0d S40 se sport. And once I had it super chipped I was getting high 50's about town and low 60's on a run. Before the chip it was pretty poor......mid 40's. Lovely motor though. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I was going to say, you'd see a huge fuel economy boost with a remap. :B_thumb: Lovely looking car m8, hope she's as reliable as the T5......though something tells me it won't be seeing as Ford really did sink their teeth in at this point. Only time will tell  I reckon if you also lowered it slightly and fitted some 10mm spacers you'd have an absolute stunner. I wouldn't change much else, but definitely get it mapped.
