Anyone de chromed their motor? If not but you know how to then share the knowledge please  I'm thinking of doing this but don't have the first idea how to, I'd like to go for black. Could it be painted?? Thanks

I'd have a go with plasti-dip paint myself, no need to edge prime, mask it up & paint away. If you balls it up you can peel it off, easy enough to touch up. I'm bloody useless with vinyl wrap give me a rattle can anyday. :)

Cutting paste. The plastic under the chrome paint is black. I found out by accident when using a rotary polisher & cutting paste whilst buffing the paintwork on mine a couple of years back........ For complex trim where access is limited or it got fiddly details then the two options above seem a sensible course - plastidip probably being the most DIY friendly!

As if i admitted to an Orion. :)

is the trim easy to remove just a case of prising it off? if then I could spray them.
