Just watched the first episode on Amazon in Ultra HD and loved it.

It was a bit corny in places but as a season opener streets ahead of the last topgear series, looking forward to the next episode.
Yes compared to Top gear massive difference, just shows how easy they make it look..roll on next weeks show. .
i turned off halfway through, back to the same old poor scripted jokes that made me glad Clarkson ended it all for Top Gear the first time

I grabbed the torrent on eztv.ag, but am in France and it may be UK blocked... Unfortunately I also have to agree with Fandango, some poorly scripted and over wooden parts bored me and I found myself skipping through to the parts with cars in. I don't doubt the budget and shooting skills, loved the Macca and M2.
I enjoyed it, some bits I thought were quite cleverly done - instead of firing into it all singing all dancing "this is better than Top Gear", they instead gave the impression of finding their feet a little. Maybe I'm wrong but with the whopping budget surely it was intentional/all was scripted, as mentioned above. Not fantastic but tbh there aren't many cars shows worth watching for anything except the cars. A good start IMO
It was pretty good. Next week's show will have very little car stuff in it at all tho.
Of course it was all scripted, there's little to no adlibbing going on. But I dont mind that if the script is ok. I was so bored of TG in the last few years as the writing was just awful, you saw the jokes a mile off, all the same old nonsense, and it was just cack. I'm a bit disappointed that they've kept more or less the same format - they could have really freshened things up - but the writing seems to be better and there wasn't much that made me cringe. So, reasonably pleased with ep1, thought it was OK.
