Hi, i have just bought a s60 t5 today , got it home and realised the rear tyres are 255/40/18 and the fronts are 235/40/18 will this make any difference at all?, also has anyone any idea of the tyre pressure that they would need as this size isn't mentioned on the vehicle, thankyou for any info

The narrower width on the fronts may have been done to avoid the tyres rubbing on the inner wheel well. As long as the axles are matched tyre wise then it shouldn't make much difference.

What he said. But 255/40 is a huge tyre. The sidewalls must look huge compared to the fronts. (the second number on a tyre is the sidewall height in percentage of tyre width, which is the first) Surprised they don't rub to be honest. What wheels are you on?

Hi, the wheels are BBS Nebula split rim alloys they do look very wide but there is no sign of any rubbing, thanks for your help
