This one's a bit smaller than the usual though ;) Image C30's based on the Focus apparently. Didn't see many FoMoCo parts when putting it together though. Image Nice driving position though: Image Most of my bloody cars don't even have an aux input jack! Image Tiny Volvo key! Image Hopefully this little monkey will like it come tomorrow morning :) Image Happy christmas, Folks :) Oh, Mum's getting a bigger one:  Image

Just wondering is there a list of mods for the C30 ;)

What is the bairn getting though...hope you told her Christmas is in January for the sales :)

List of mods so far includes some bigger batteries, that don't take 12 hours to charge (thinking of a 24v jobbie from my SDS drill here, only take 30mins) Should do about 20mph then too! Oh, then some serious strengthening to take my weight! Gotta rig a handbrake too so I can teach her to drive like a true Mancunian

Just make her drive it so she can look down on the peasants, If that don't work sell it.:slap::slap:

If she carries on, she'll be looking down from the double decker bus when I sell both of them. Don't know why I f##king bother sometimes.

I take it you tried the, but it's a really safe car for the two most precious things in my life........line .
I take it you tried the, but it's a really safe car for the two most precious things in my life........line .
Yep, tried all sorts. Basically, I'm an arse and I've ruined Christmas. Also, I should "Cheer up, it's Christmas Ffs" in-between visits to various family with a fake smile on my face. "I'm over-f##king-joyed Honey. I can barely contain myself." Relatives all saying "Ooh, isn't your new car lovely," me nodding and smiling. I decided to stay away from the mother in law's. Thought that if she even uttered a word about how much of a ££££ father I am again, like she did when she layed into me a couple of months ago, it really wouldn't end well. Good times.

You sound the same as me, nothing worse than having to be nice to relations that have pissed you and your family off on regular occasions, I really do get most grumpy at Christmas and wish it was all over....think a Christmas day volvo meet would be a good idea and spend my time with like minded friends

Post 808278 by jamesy12345 on 2016-12-27 10:29:06

On the run up til Christmas I was gutted I was working it, you lads make me feel better now :) I haven't been to any relatives houses to listen to their BS, I haven't accepted any pish gifts while trying to look grateful & I didn't buy anyone anything.....except I got the bairn something delivered before the 25th that he wanted. What I did manage was to call people at odd times & leave happy Christmas messages on their answering machines I mean voice mail  I think I'll volunteer myself for working it next year...

Best all round, J. I really don't like Christmas anyway. Always utter ££££e when I was growing up with constant arguments between my mum and dad, we were pretty potless, so I never really got owt... Where's that violin. The missus has been trying to convince me to like Christmas for the last 17 years, and now we have the little-un I thought I'd try and make an effort to get excited about it. Christmas morning started promising. Although my gifts from the missus were pretty crap, I looked through that and tried to stay positive, looking forward to the V8 shaped surprise. That's where it went horribly wrong and I immediately remembered why I hate Christmas. Not seen the mother in law yet, don't wish to either. I'll no doubt get another mouthful. Guess we'll see what happens the next time her toilet breaks, which it will. The part is in my van, has been for months. I refused to go and change it after the last time she called me out to it and I made a temporary repair and I didn't even get a thank you. Poisonous bitch, that one. Father in law always told me that, I'm starting to see it now.

Personally I think too much pressure is on come Christmas time. Bah humbug

I think some people expect too much, Christmas isn't all about presents, it should be about celebration with the people you want to be with and have a bit of fun
I think some people expect too much, Christmas isn't all about presents, it should be about celebration with the people you want to be with and have a bit of fun
Completely agree. Although, this little one at least seemed to appreciate the effort gone to. Image It's apparently called George. She feeds it mini-cheddars.

yep just keep the kids happy & ££££££££ to the adults, they should know better by now
... It's apparently called George. She feeds it mini-cheddars.
I think that is basically a Polestar remap

Is that the 6v Radstar one? The battery is absolute crap on this one, with only one drive motor. On anything but billiard table smooth surfaces is hasn't got the guts to get itself started. Thinking of putting a higher rated battery in (10amp rather than the 4amp that it came with) and another drive motor. Could always use a car battery and starter motor!

That's cos it is meant for kids, lads, not fully grown adults :D

By the time I've finished with it, the missus will be driving it to work when I've sold her C70 and the XC90
