got one for the kid for xmas ..... can i download songs/video from places like morpheus and put it straight on to his ipod or do i have to download from the ipod website???? also it comes with a usb cable , is that all he needs thanks for any info mark
I'm not an expert on them, don't have one, but I am sure you can put any onto it, but if noone else knows for definate a friend of mine works for Apple and I will ask him when I next speak to him for you.

With the ipod it came with a CD, on that CD is itunes, you can download music from anywhere but you need to import to itunes ant when you plug in the ipod it will upload all music for you
As long as there in mp3 format (not sure about wma's etc) it doesnt matter where the music comes from. Depending on the model of the Ipod you will need to transfer the music over via the Ipod Itunes software once you have downloaded them from the internet. Which model have you got him Mark and do youuse Windows XP?

lol i know what u mean..messanger is on all weekend...i had to put his ps2 eyetoy to the pc so he could have webcam...people he speaks to live straight opposite our house...whats the point
lol, exactly! I bet his messenger name is like a mile long on the screen also. The iPod will support mp3, so no matter where you get the music from you can use iTunes to upload it to the iPod.
