Hi Ladies Gents pleased to join the vpcuk I am restoring my volvo 480 es 1.7 lambda sonde fuel injection i`m stuck on a thick brown wire at rear top of the roof Brown is earth on the 480 but is this a switch live for the brake light or wiper motor i`m getting tones from my test meter on all wires therefore waiting for your reply Mrcolgarshan58

I'm not familiar with the brown wire of which you speak but the site below has some wiring diagrams...

THE Brown wire goes over the roof the the rear of the car there is a cluster of wires that goes to the tail gate wiper high brake light also rear window heater the Brown wire is a thick wire with spade connector on it Mrcolgarshan
