So here we go, these are the pics from when I bought it Image Image Image Image Main bodywork issue Image So after I bought it it was sat a while at a friends until I managed to free space in my garage, first thing was to replace the perfos with some Mondeo ST wheels I had that had brand new tyres on, so drilled out the centre bore and started the fitting Image Image Next issue to address was the cutting out and not starting when warm, diagnosed as blocked cat so removed it and smashed all the internals out, ha to get a new centre bracket as had to grind off Image Next issue was a sidelight not working, found out that a previous owner had cut off the part where the 501 fits so thanks to deathrider (Simon) he had a headlight wiring to hand so that was fixed Image I do have a lot more pics but this is hard to do on an iPad, started the front end detail but I now had 2 x wings and a bonnet to send off for respray and looking for an R front bumper to make complete, but this is how the front end is looking Image Trying to find some spoiler brackets as they are rotten Image Started a rear end detail but had to pull it out the garage as a I got a seriously rotten v70 t5 in to break for the manual conversion which is now on the cards Image Lots and lots of plans on the cards over the next year or 2 Thanks to deathrider (Simon) for help with the bits like a decent battery etc That's all for now folks, stay tuned
It's only a weekends worth of work if you get a donor car :)
What chance would you have then though? You can't even beat an auto off the line! Mine is definitely a 200 yard car though. Any closer and you see alo the duct tape and cable ties.
