Hi everyone it's been a while since I've even been near a forum, my wife required brain surgery in may and has only just come home from the JR at oxford, been a horrendous few months for her and she's not clear either yet, but I'm thankful she's still with us, with recent events it's kind of put things into perspective, the 850 hasn't had much use. Other than running it up to temp weekly and a full service last month. Sorry for chapter and verse!!! Life's a little short and we have both always loved to have a P2R, we've found one in Scotland that appears to tick every box going, the nice chap selling bought it from what appears a fastidious owner up in Scotland too It's wearing an VPCUK sticker in the rear off side window, the reg Px54xxa, I was wondering if anyone knew of this vehicle and the previous owner Kind regards Rich

You'll need to chat with Martyn (aka Volvokid) here on VPC if you wanna know the ins and outs of the car. One thing I will say is the, so called 'nice chap' you mention, isn't really. He bought it for an absolute steel off Martyn and appears to now be trying to make a quick buck off the back of Martyn. I believe it's over £1000 more than what Martyn sold it for? Anyway, I'm not gonna get into the politics of it all but I can assure you it's a stunning example and it drives lovely, as I have driven it! Best you snap it up quick as once it's gone....it's gone! :B_thumb: PS. Glad your wife's on the mend!!
I know of a Civic type R for sale,SOON.
Which Honda forum is it going to be on ?.

Post 813536 by volvokid on 2017-08-29 09:29:35

Haha it will be on Facebook. I hope someone gets the R at s good price but I can't see that happening. It's unfortunate that they will need to spend money on it.

Bloody hell its been a long time! How’s it going? Erm it was a car that was difficult to love. Always had an issue of some sort. In the end I sold it with a brake issue, suspension, steering rack and clutch issue they were the biggest problems that wasn’t including the lacquer peal, patch of rust, TVs didn’t work, one of the speakers didn’t work. Absolute money pit But I do still have my saffy. I’m moving into a new house on Friday that’s got a good size garage to keep it in
