What with one thing or another Quicksilver has been neglected during the summer and now it's Mot time, she fired up okay and is running a treat be it only at 19mpg! got the discs back to shiny metal and the ads light took a while to go out! So we'll see what happens? Fingers crossed! Whatever happens I'm determined to keep it going. Steve

Thanks guys, well she passed of course, adviseries for chip in the windscreen, poor reflectors in the headlights and front brake hoses(got some last year but never got round to fitting them) So the list of other things to do? Refurb alloys(one has a slow leak round the rim) Front anti roll bar bushes(annoying rattle from the pass side) Paintwork, front and rear bumpers and a couple of rust patches on the tailgate Usual stuff, A/C not working, drivers switch pack playing up. Going to be a busy winter!

Switch pack is likely just the plug connections corroded - nail file and contact cleaner usually darts it.
