Pulling into work the other day I noticed my wing mirror was a bit wobbly, then it started to slide down! So just the glass has come away, and the heat pad is visible. I had to replace the glass and the motor back in 2008 due to some vandalism at a works do (fortunately the arse who did the damage paid for it). I used genuine parts (at quite some cost). I'm just surprised that the genuine part has failed considering all the Volvos I've had have never had issues with the mirror glass (apart from a smashed one) Anyway rant over :)
