And with room to spare too :D You could have asked the neighbours if they wanted anything taking LOL They are great for room, though the 900 estate was even better due to the squareness of the old boxy shape, managed to get a double bed and mattress in once. I've had the cargo nets up in my 850 and stuffed the boot area top to bottom (mainly with the kids stuff when going on holiday haha)

Haha that's why I love them too , the only thing that came close to the storage capacity was a Skoda that I saw, and it was packed , but still not close to my Volvo.
740's can take 3 complete 8x4 sheets of plasterboard and still shut the tailgate, awesome cars....why don't I still have one..????
i've always had saloons, but really impressed how much you can get in them (a S70R front end & a James lol). Don't underestimate an Insignia tho, they have got big boots
