My old mans Volvo

Hi guys, Talk about wet behind the ears!! I had no idea what that black Volvo was my old man (76) used to potter around in for the last twelve years. He would pop it back in the garage every night without fail. I assumed it was because he felt the neighbours would think him old and with a sensible safe car 'boring'. This was until last week when he told me that they were down sizing - selling both cars and buying one. He asked me if I would take his volvo to our local garage (20 miles away) for a service. I felt obliged so off I trundled..... Well f**k me. What a car!!!! It's not just the fact that it goes rather quickly but it is built so beautifully. I delivered Dads car back to him with a big grin and he just looked at me with this weird knowing smug look. He offered it to me to sell or keep. I don't think I want to sell it. I think I want to keep Dad's black (safe, boring and respectable) V70 T5. We already have two cars and a bike on the road so the T5 will be sorn and put in our garage. I have to say I have never owned a Volvo before (what an idiot!)

That looks a lovely example, they're great cars! Welcome to the fold, what's the mileage and is it a manual?
