Hi All, i wonder if anyone can help. My car has just had a new clutch and flywheel fitted at a very reputable garage, but there are problems and the car is still there. Basically as i understand it, the car was hard to shift into gear after the clutch was changed, both with the engine on or off. The shifter mech has been replaced with a good 2nd hand unit and so have the cables. This made it much better when not connected to the gearbox, however it is still a problem with the linkage connected. As i understand it now, it is hard to get into 6th gear only and after trying 6th, other gears are then stiff. All gears are ok with the engine off. We are now looking at having to try another gearbox, however the problem was not there before the clutch was replaced. Does anyone have any ideas other than the gearbox before i start crying.

If so, the correct clutch kit for your 2003 car is: #30783258. That will include a CSC (Concentric Slave Cylinder). Was the flywheel fitted a DMF or SMF?

Those part numbers match my bill[/QUOTE] nothing worse that getting it all back together, to then find you have to strip it all back down again, I had to do that when I fitted my 2.0L 10v gearbox to my olive T-5R, but that was all my fault and not really the gearboxes, it was only trying to tell me that it prefers to work with some lubrication in it.....:rotfl::lol::cuckoo:
