Hi everyone,I'm in the motor trade,50+ year, retired but still buy, sell repair a few to keep me alive, anyway bought something out of my comfort zone,as I'm ex vw ,Audi, anyway this car I bought on a dealer Webb looked and read perfect,23 new ,cambelt, water pump, alternator fitted 800 mls ago,1 owner, car is a 2004 XC70 cross country auto 2.4 diesel and lux.wait for the miles......230,000...I knowwwww, anyway collected it yesterday, excellent all round, drove it back from Essex, but noticed it thudding when slowing at almost stop islands,Googled it and folk say, flush a load of new atf through the box,and I watched a vid of a garage man doing it without first draining the gearbox sump, just kept topping it up till it ran clean, every thing else seems fine and what value for little money so far, ideas anyone on best aft, etc, regards bit worried man with nagging wife saying ,,told you not to buy that white elephant, lol
