Oh dear, it had to happen sometime..! I've wandered off the Volvo path a bought something and bit newer and thought I'd share it with you all here. As we all know, none of our Volvo's are getting any younger and although I've been pretty lucky with my Volvo's over the last 20 years, this year has been a testing time. The XC90 seized it's water pump and popped it's timing belt off....ouch....still in the process of sorting that one, and the Gul managed to dump it's entire coolant and fry the head, this as been replaced with another T5 lump, which I'm not fully happy with at present, as it has a small rattle top end between gear changes on the over run. That said it's running ok and getting me about, but we need a reliable little car for nippping here and there as well as getting the Mrs's to work now. So on looking about for some fun, small, economic and relatively quick I found this....... [ATTACH=CONFIG]32905[/ATTACH] What a great little car this is, got the go to please any T-5 driver and amazing handling and braking, not too bad on juice either, the Monza active exhaust is brilliant and I tend to listen to that than the stereo to be honest. Never thought I'd buy anything other than a Volvo and really did want a C30 T-5 but when I started looking I realised how old the newest of those is and that was too old for me unfortunately, the Abarth is 4 years old and I plan to run her for 4 years and then swap to something newer after that, if it behaves well then may be I swap for another one, but it's going to be hard to find another as nice as this one is.
