Hi all, Have finally got round to joining VPCUK. I’m the very lucky new custodian of LeeT5’s gorgeous black V70R. It’s fair to say I quite like her. I’ve just got rid of XC90 which I owned twice. Just before Christmas sold my beloved 60k mile ‘88 740GLE, and also recently had a ‘98 V90. I’ve always wanted a fast Volvo wagon after my Dad buying a red 740 Turbo wagon new in ‘87. I think with Lee’s, I’ve bagged one of the best☺️ She joins my wife’s black 2017 V40 on the drive. Cheers Nick

Welcome and that's certainly one nice V70R you've bagged yourself, I look forward to updates on her now she is in fellow vpc ownership.

Congratulations on your purchase. You’ve bagged yourself one of the best if not the best V70R in the UK. The jap imports go for £8-9k, need a lot spent on conversion and often the HU, and seem attractive because of their low mileage. Don’t for a second be put off by the fact LeeT5s car has a normal amount of mileage which some would say is high. Excellent maintenance keeps a car like new despite the numbers on the dash. Continue to use OE or equivalent spares and the best engine oil that money can buy. I use Millers Nanotechnology+ triple ester 10w50 every 5000 miles in my R. Enjoy the car, and spend some time downloading all the info brochures to find out how it ticks.

I think I gave Nick just about every bit of literature and info, enough bedtime reading for the rest of the year!
