Hi Folks
Can anybody let me know what turbo is on a W reg V70 T5.
I have seen one at a local breakers and was wondering if it would fit my classic S70 T5 (P reg) and if so would it be a worthwhile mod. Currently running Rica upgrade and was considering a turbo swap anyway.
The guy is looking for £100 for the turbo and £150 for the turbo and downpipe together. Is this worth it, bearing in mind that there is no history with it apart from the fact is is a W reg car.
Thought and opinions please.

Bob, you need to check if it's a phase 1 or phase 2 model. If it's a phase 1 classic model then the turbo will fit with the downpipe that's included. If it's a phase 2 model then you will need a 1999 phase 1 downpipe to get this to fit.
The turbo will be a 16T with angled flange, as opposed to yours which is a 16T with straight flange.

So basically no point then as its just the same turbo so no upgrade available, A think he was hoping for an 18T or 19T to up the power in his car......

It is a phase 2 car so no point really, as Fraz said I'm looking for bigger than my 16.
However if anybody needs any parts from it then let me know and I will pass on the details. It has black leather and Volvo detachable towbar still there.
