Hi There
I live in Dublin - Ireland and am [was] the proud owner of a C70 convertible. The roof is now giving me problems and wont close properly. The local dealer is saying that the sensors are out of sync - the being quoted to me costs to fix this are very high.
Can anyone give me any advise as regards the best way to fix this. Do you know of any garages in Northern Ireland or Ireland who could fix this ?
Thanks, :slap:

Hi Jon,
I think the reason the cost to fix is very high is because it may be a roof off job. Not sure here just speculating.
How handy are you with cars? You could always ask the dealer what is involved in fixing the roof and see if there is any work you can do yourself prior to the dealer taking over. You can then finish off.
I'm thinking along the lines of you removing and refitting the roof and the dealer does the rest. Either that or just get the parts and try it yourself.
On the workshop front, sorry, I don't know of any specialists in Ireland. Try the VOC site, they may have a list or there may be a couple of forum members from Eire (I think there are a couple but I can't remember their names).
Regards
Andy
