I have a 2001 (new shape) V70 T5 SE, and would rather look after it myself than trust a garage (no offence to all the trustworthy mechanics out there).
I can't seem to find a manual that covers my car. Does anyone know where I can get one from?
Thanks

Yep,
I`ll second that
The book of lies doesn`t exist for P2 models
As for garages you could always use an independent one that services volvo`s there are a few about and they don`t all charge the earth
Cheers

Haynes will be releasing an updated manual for the V70 covering V70/S80 from 1998 all the way up to 2005, I think.
Due to come out this February!
Whether it's any use for doing more than changing the oil or taking the trim off, I don't know.

to be honset, other than basic servicing i think the car is now far too computer orientated to do much yourself anyway.
i was told before haynes weren't doing any more new volvo manuals so that's news to me!

It`ll probably tell you how to change a wheel and all other sections will contain the paragraph
"Entrust your car to the volvo dealer as it`s to f***ing complicated for us to work out as we haven`t got "VIDA" " :wtf:
