By the way was a few none RSOC members on the track last year, inc Evos and Scoobies etc but I think they paid slightly more to go on. If anyone does want to run if allowed this year, I can find out but places do get booked up fast.

then i will take the piss out of the fords lol will just say its a ford Ka which i have pannel beated into looking like an old mini ? sure it will work folks in past experiences, although it will be "FORD" day usually they let other cars on. ie the turbo lads had a meet on a TVR day, was great fun :) unless the Ford club have specifically requested no other makes of car to be granted access.
what costs are involved mate might bring the van up and make a gusest apperance
I think it's a fiver admission per person on the day adult price, but if we go as a club it maybe that for the weekend, camping i can't see being that much really. Themeparks about £13 in i think, usual burgers etc be £2.50 i guess, or bring yer barby to save costs.

Post 103949 by Andy on 2006-05-01 23:13:31

Whats peoples plans for meeting for this one then? Who is camping? Who is just going for the day? And who is racing (if they can)?

Post 104084 by JO5EPH on 2006-05-02 18:38:35

Well I'm going on track on the 10th July (the day after the RSOC event) with the BMW car club. I was originally planning on travelling up on the Sunday evening and stopping over at a b&b, I'm still gonna do that but I might come earlier on the Sunday to attend this event. I've gotta say that cossie's etc dont interest me a great deal, but i'm always up for watching a bit of 'racing'! :D And to round off the day, FIFA have put the World Cup Final on for us. Which is nice. :thewave:

Post 111502 by markt4 on 2006-05-25 10:09:28

just love the cosworth's...could of had a j reg 4x4 for 2500 last month , he had it advertised for £4000 , he just had spent £800 on the brakes , said he was sick to death of chavas coming to look at it , so let it go for 2.5k bodywork was mint but he said it needed 2 shockers and 2 hubs?

Post 121501 by stuAWD on 2006-07-03 19:48:01

Sorry TDS3, it looks like i'll not be able to make it on this one. Any way England arn't in the final so the numbers shouldn't drop off that much.
